Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) enable Aurora to make leaps & bounds in the development of Deep Learning

Local Enterprise Partnership assist in Aurora’s developmental strides in Deep Learning

NEP is a Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) with a clear objective: to increase the prosperity of Northamptonshire’s businesses by supporting the creation of better quality private sector jobs.

From October 2014 to July 2015, NEP offered Aurora comprehensive business support and funding which has enabled the company to take Deep Learning from concept to completion. We have worked closely with Cathy Martin, Senior Programme Manager at NEP, whose support has helped create permanent jobs, enabling staff and resources to be applied to the production of our Artificial Intelligence Software Development Kit.

Deep Learning (DL) is a term that has been given to the breakthrough techniques that allow Artificial Intelligence (AI) to be deployed to provide a range of solutions to real data and business problems.  We are now in a position to create an AI for almost any given task.  Providing the training data is available and the problem solvable, Deep Learning will find the solution.
